Described as a reward for the amazing crowd support that is showcased over the previous five editions of CPL at the Providence stadium, cricket fans can now book their spot at any of the two matchups by visiting the closest ticket office or purchase online at CPLT20.com.There is no doubt that Guyanese fans will be eagerly anticipating the two encounters and with the Guyana Amazon Warriors currently sitting at the top of the points table, Guyanese cricket lovers are expectant that their home team will be featured in one of those matches on September 11 and 12.As promised by CPL Chief Operations Officer Pete Russell, when the introduction of the playoff to Guyana was made, ticket prices for the playoffs remain affordable, so that fans across the diaspora can enjoy the ‘Biggest Party in Sport.’ Those prices will match the home games with the Red and Green stands costing $5,000, $3,000 for the Orange stand and $2,500 for the Grass mound.Hero CPL CEO Damien O’ Donohoe spoke extensively on the release of the tickets stating, “The support that we have over the years from the Guyanese government and the Guyanese public has been outstanding. The games in Guyana have an atmosphere like no were else on earth. This is the biggest sports event of the year and I urge fans to get their tickets early and not be left disappointed. There was so many fans who missed the home games as the tickets sold out so fast. We also have a few surprises up our sleeve for the Playoffs… so make sure to follow us.”Fans are being urged to pick up their tickets before they are all sold out at the CPL offices at 238 Camp and Quamina Streets, Lot 19 Princess Elizabeth Road, Queenstown New Amsterdam and Imam Bacchus and Sons General Store at Affiance Essequibo Coast in order to be a part of history as play-off matches in Cricket Played Louder head to Providence.The play-offs will see the top four teams after the league stage of CPL battling for places in the September 16 final in Trinidad. On September 11, the top two teams on the points table will meet with the winner going straight to the final while on September 12 the third and fourth place teams will clash with the winner qualifying to play the loser of Play-off one while the loser will be eliminated.Both play-offs will begin at 18:00h.last_img
