first_img Share Share 15 Views   no discussions LocalNews One man injured in vehicular accident on Salisbury Highway. by: – August 20, 2011 Sharing is caring!center_img Share Tweet In photo: The scene of the accident on Salisbury Highway earlier today.Information reaching Dominica Vibes News indicates that a vehicular accident occurred on the Salisbury Highway earlier today where one man sustained minor injuries.It is alleged that a blue car driven by Simpson Letang of Pichelin was attempting to overtake a tipper truck, both driving in a northerly direction on the Salisbury Highway, when the accident occurred. Further that as a result of the high speed at which he was driving, Mr. Letang was unable to revert to his original lane and as a result the car to collide with the tipper truck on its right rear wheel, pushing the dumper truck out of control and causing it to make a 180˚turn towards Roseau.Mr. Letang had to be assisted out of his car and was transported to the Princess Margaret Hospital by Fire officers stationed at the St. Joseph Fire & Ambulance Station.
