VMEC Expands to Meet Needs of Vermont Manufacturers
RANDOLPH CENTER, VT — The Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) has recently expanded its statewide field staff with the hiring of Brian Werneke as a Professional Manufacturing Advisor. Werneke will be concentrating on delivering VMEC assistance and services to manufacturers located in the northwest region of Vermont.Brian Werneke joined the 16-member, not-for-profit VMEC team in August 2007. He has more than 13 years of experience in the manufacturing, financial services, professional services and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining VMEC, Brian was a Project Manager for BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont and an Independent Quality Consultant for Whitetail Manufacturing, Inc. in Williston, VT.Brian brings additional expertise to the VMEC team through his extensive experiences as a Strategic Business Analyst and a Strategy and Integration Manager. Brian received a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University in 2001 and is a 1994 graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics.
